Highland students in Electrical Years 1 and 2 for September 2024-2025 (FOI)

Further to contact with Highlands College Electrical & Mechanical trainee department, we requested the below information, the college advised that due to the Freedom of Information Act (2011) they are unable to give this data direct and that we needed to complete this FOI request, 

Could we have students numbers in Electrical Year 1 & Y2 for September 2024-2025 and what the previous year was, also confirming if all are in employment.

The table below represents the number of Electrical Apprentices enrolled in Year 1 and Year 2 for the academic years 2023 – 2024 and 2024 – 2025:

All Electrical Apprentices are required to be in employment whilst in attendance on the course, the College does not hold data as to whether those who attended in the academic year 2023 - 2024 are still in employment therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
