Can I please have the following information concerning people, aged 18 to 65 years, awarded over 20%, receiving LTIA:

1. How many people in this age bracket are awarded LTIA at 20% and above?

2. How many people in this age bracket, claiming LTIA above 20%, are in part time employment?

3. How many people in this age bracket, claiming LTIA above 20%, are in full time employment?

Response

1. At present, there are 3430 individuals in receipt of Long-Term Incapacity Allowance (LTIA) at a rate of 20%, or above. 

From the above figure, 352 individuals receive 20% LTIA while the remaining 3078 individuals receive more than 20% LTIA.

2 & 3. The information, as requested, is not held. To answer the request, data would need to be extracted from various sources and manipulated. The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 does not require a Scheduled Public Authority to manipulate data in order to provide a response. Therefore, the requested information is not held, as defined under Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
