Good afternoon, I would like to request data on reports, arrests and charges in Jersey under female genital mutilation legislation. - Art 28 of the Sexual Offences (Jersey) Law 2018: Carrying out female genital mutilation
- Art 29: Assisting female genital mutilation
- Art 30: Failing to protect a girl from risk of genital mutilation
- Contravention of Art 31: Duty to notify police of apparent female genital mutilation on a child.
I would like this data for each of the years: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 to date.
Please break down the data by year, by offence, and by report/arrest/charge.
Could I please also find out how many (if any) FGM protection orders were made in that time.

Response
The States of Jersey Police can confirm that there are no records of FGM on our crime recording system. In addition, there have been no FGM protection orders for the above years.
