How much has the Government of Jersey committed to spending on the trial to support flights by Finistair airline between Jersey and Brest and is there a contribution to cover the ALDERNEY LEG?
What is the nature of the funding? LOAN GRANT or INVESTMENT?
Response
The Department for the Economy has made available up to £40,000 to support Finistair in trialling a new air route connecting Brest, Jersey and Alderney. This funding is intended to assist with the operational aspects of the route trial, which will be facilitated in coordination with Ports of Jersey.
Department for the Economy has a Purchase Order arrangement with Ports of Jersey and this is not a loan, grant or investment.
