The 14+ entry requirements to Hautlieu School are a CAT score of >109, and Maths and English Progress Test scores > 103. Please provide details of the number of Year 9 students who achieved these marks in the Autumn sittings from 2020 to 2024 inclusive for all State and fee-paying Secondary schools, both in absolute terms and as a percentage of the number of students who sat the exams at each sitting. I am not interested in the number of applicants to Hautlieu, rather the pass rates of Year 9 students over time, in particular 2024.

The criteria for entry to Hautlieu is a YR9 Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) score greater than or equal to (>=) 109 and YR9 Progress Tests (PT) in English and Maths scores greater than or equal to (>=) 103. The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) assess the main types of reasoning ability (verbal, non-verbal, spatial and quantitative) known to make a difference to learning and achievement, providing a rounded profile of each learner at the point of testing. They are not a test of curriculum knowledge and understanding or a reflection of the quality of education the child has received. More information relating to the CAT tests can be found at this link: https://www.gl-assessment.co.uk/assessments/cat4/
The Progress Test (PT) measures attainment in English and Maths. These assessments can be used at the start of the academic year for baselining, at the middle or end of the year to measure progress, and then year-on-year as a longitudinal measure. Reports are set against national averages so you can reliably compare your results with those of students across the country. More information relating to the PT series can be found at this link: https://www.gl-assessment.co.uk/assessments/progress-test-series/
The PDF table attached displays the figures of those achieving >=109 in their Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) and those achieving >=103 in their Progress Tests (PT) for English and Maths, over the past 5 years, in Government of Jersey Non Fee-paying and Fee-paying Secondary Schools, both in absolute terms and as a percentage of Year 9 students who sat the tests.
