Under the FOI Act, I would like to request the total amount you have paid to telecommunications companies for services including, but not limited to call records, personal details and movements of customers in each of the last 5 full financial years (2020/21-2024/25).

Response

​In order to gather the requested information, transactional data was pulled for all suppliers in relation to the following services:  

Wholesale of electronic and telecommunications equipment and parts

Wired telecommunications activities

Retail sale of telecommunications equipment other than mobile telephones

Wireless telecommunications activities

Other telecommunications activities

Retail sale of mobile telephones

The total amount recorded on Government of Jersey systems as having been paid for the services outlined above, for the last five full financial years, is detailed in the table below.
