Insurance costs for Sandy Park

Regarding the children's play area known as Sandy Park.

What were the insurance costs met by the Department for the site per annum in the last two years for which it was responsible.

Insurance premiums are charged annually by our insurers on a group basis and are not broken down in a way that the costs for individual sites can be ascertained. Information relating to the insurance costs for the site known as Sandy Park is therefore not held and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) 2011 therefore applies.

Article 3 - Meaning of “information held by a public authority"

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b)     it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
