This is a follow-up to FOI response 724629724.
Under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, I request the following information:
1. Complaints or Concerns Involving Work Permit Holders
Please provide:
1. a.The total number of reports, complaints, or safeguarding concerns received by any Government of Jersey department involving individuals on temporary work permits, from January 2021 to present.
1. b.A basic breakdown by general category if available (e.g. harassment, inappropriate behaviour, safeguarding concern).
1. c.Whether the Government of Jersey records the ethnicity, nationality, or cultural background of the individuals named in these complaints.
1. d. If so, please provide a summary of how many complaints involved each recorded ethnic or national group since January 2021.
1. e. If this data is not collected, please confirm that.
2. Engagement with UK Safeguarding Authorities
In your previous response, you mentioned liaison with the UK Home Office. This did not answer my original question fully.
Please confirm:
2. a Has the Government of Jersey (including JCIS or any other department) ever contacted any UK police forces, safeguarding boards, or local authorities — especially in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxford, or similar areas — to seek advice or guidance about immigration-related safeguarding risks (such as those seen in group-based exploitation cases)?
If yes:2. b Please provide the dates and a brief description of the nature of the contact (e.g. meeting, phone call, formal letter, training session).

Data relating to points1a-e is not held by Jersey Customs and Immigration Service (JCIS) in a reportable format. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
2 a and b
JCIS has not engaged with any of the groups described above in respect of advice or guidance about immigration-related safeguarding risks. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –
(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
