How much has been spent on scrutiny training for States members since June 2022?
Can the cost of training between June 2022 and January 2024 be provided? And can the cost of scrutiny training from February 2024 to date also be provided?
Response
Total expenditure since June 2022 on training for elected States Members involved in the Scrutiny function was £18,860.61.
Of this amount, £4,833.50 was spent between June 2022 and January 2024; and £14,027.11 was spent between January 2024 and July 2025.
These figures do not include any sandwich lunches that may have been ordered for attendees at the training sessions as this expenditure is coded separately. Not all training provided to Members involved with Scrutiny has incurred a fee.
