The Government made a grant of over £700,000 to fund the latest Bergerac tv series shown in either late 2024 - early 2025. At the time Deputy Morel stated that the Government would receive a return on this investment. As this has proved to be a successful tv series with rights sold around the world, how much has the Government received by way of a return on this investment.
Response
As of 13th August 2025, the Government of Jersey has not received any direct income from Series 1 of Bergerac that was released 27 February 2025.
