• When does the contract expire?
• What is the name of the e-rostering platform that you use to support with medical staff
rosters e.g. RL Datix, Rotageek etc

Details of Health and Care Jersey’s Locum medical staff arrangements have been provided in response to a number of previous Freedom of Information requests published to www.gov.je. As information is available elsewhere, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. Historically, medical staff rotas were managed within departments. No single platform or system was utilised, with some areas using spreadsheets whilst others used e-rostering platforms, including Health Rota, Allocate E-Leave, and Optima by RL Datix (E-Roster). Health and Care Jersey is currently in a transition period, with all medical staff being transferred to the Optima E-Roster platform, as used across the organisation. It is anticipated that this will be fully implemented by the end of 2025. The current contract for Optima by RL Datix expires January 2027.
