The Government of Jersey has undertaken independent analysis on the effect of DFDS's freight pricing structure on grocery prices. 

Please kindly provide a copy of the same (redacted if and where required for commercial sensitivity) – and also confirm: 

• When was this analysis commissioned and completed? 
• Which independent party completed the research? 
• What was the cost of the same? 
  

Response 

The Government of Jersey has not undertaken independent analysis but has undertaken its own internal assessment i.e. independently of other parties.  

Therefore, the specific information requested is not held and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law has been applied.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if – 

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
