Request 757232984
1.Please could you tell me how much public money has been spent on cut out police officers since they were introduced?
2.Please tell me what data you hold from the last couple of years that show how effective they have been and what value for money they provide?
Response
1. Two Policemen cut outs purchased in 2023 - £361.20. In house repairs are completed when required therefore repair costs are negligible.
2. They act as a visual deterrent and an educational strand rather than an enforcement; therefore, no data is held and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
