All pollution discharge consents issued in Jersey from earliest records available up to present day, specifically relating to discharges that may possibly contain metal pollutants (Copper, Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Lead, Chromium, Cadmium and Nickel).
May each consent please include: 

  • the date of issue
  • name of facility or company granted the consent
  • type of discharge
  • location of discharge 

Response

There has only been one discharge permit issued by the Scheduled Public Authority (SPA) that meets the terms of this FOI, the original permit issued to EMR (original permit holder) on 25 October 2018 and transferred to Hunt Bros the New Permit Holder on 10 February 2025. 

Discharge consisted of treated surface water run-off, from La Collette Waste Metals Recycling Facility, at La Collette Recycling Park, La Collette Reclamation Phase 2, St Helier, JE2 3NX, into controlled waters at La Collette with grid reference 41640 63885.​
