Request 771817899
I am seeking any agreement executed between the Minister for Treasury and Resources and Ports of Jersey ("POJL") concerning the maintenance of Gorey Harbour. The legal responsibility for all harbours was transferred from Harbours to POJL in 2015 through the Air and Sea Ports (Incorporation) (Jersey) Law 2015.I seek a copy of any such agreement if it exists.
Response
There is no agreement in place between the Minister for Treasury and Resources and Ports of Jersey concerning the maintenance of Gorey Harbour. The requested information is therefore not held, and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
Gorey Harbour is owned by Ports of Jersey and so it is the Ports of Jersey's responsibility to maintain the asset within their ownership, and a separate agreement with the Treasury Minister is therefore not required.
