1. a further breakdown of the types of warrants provided in FOI - 768796904.
2. a list showing the types of cases under the entry for 'failing to appear in court'. For instance, what number of those 5126 are for unpaid parking fines

With reference to our FOI 768796904 response, which was processed in accordance the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 and your follow up request for further clarification regarding the information provide, please find below the statistical data requested in respect of the warrants issued. As stated in the response to FOI - 768796904 the category “Failure to Appear" refers specifically to warrants for arrest issued by a court when an individual does not attend a criminal court hearing that they are required by to attend.

Items in blue relate to failure to appear for parking offences.
In accordance with the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011, we have considered your request for a more detailed breakdown of the data in respect of the nine breaches, which as stated in our original response these relate to either a breach of probation or a breach of bail conditions.
We are unable to provide this breakdown because the numbers involved are very small. Providing further detail would make it possible to identify individuals, as even minimal categorisation can lead to identification in such small datasets. This would constitute the release of personal information, which is absolutely exempt under Article 25 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
3) In determining for the purposes of this Article whether the lawfulness principle in Article 8(1)(a) of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 would be contravened by the disclosure of information, paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 2 to that Law (legitimate interests) is to be read as if sub-paragraph (b) (which disapplies the provision where the controller is a public authority) were omitted.
Accordingly, we must refuse your request for a further breakdown to protect individual privacy and ensure compliance with our statutory obligations.
