A&E Admissions – Patient Flow & Reduction Initiatives

Details of HCJ's Head of Operational Resilience, who is responsible for patient flow as part of their portfolio, are included in the Government of Jersey publication of 02 December 2025, as linked above. This role sits within the Directorate of the Chief Operating Officer, as per the organisational chart on page 5 of the HCJ Quality Accounts for 2024:

Additionally, a discharge co-ordinator nurse supports with admission prevention through identification of alternative pathways.
