Following up on my two previous Freedom of Information requests with regards to your Procurement Project for a Managed Print Service which we responded to your expression of interest request in June 2024 and then followed it up in Mach 2025 to be advised that the formal procurement process will commence in September of this year. As we rapidly approach 2026 please can you provide me with an update as to when the Procurement process is actually likely to take place as it’s now been over 15 years since the government last went out to tender to secure the best products and services for the States of Jersey print estate.
Response
Undertaking the re-procurement of a Managed Print Service for the Government of Jersey is an active project with internal preparation work being carried out in late 2025. We intend to issue an open and competitive Invitation to Tender to the market in early 2026. Parties that have previously expressed an interest will automatically be notified via our procurement portal ( www.channelislandtenders.com) when the opportunity is issued.
