How much money has been handed out in fines to parents in each of the last 5 years for taking their children out of school during term time?

The Children, Young People, Education and Skills Department do not hold information in relation to how much money has been handed out in fines to parents for taking their children out of school during term time. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is applied.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
