The States accounts for 2024 show parish rates of £17,851,000. Please provide the amount received from, and the number of quarters, for each parish. Please also provide the same information for 2025 if available.

Meeting with the Parishes in 2025 provided greater information on amounts payable in respect of Island Wide Rates and adjustments were made on outstanding values accordingly

Ratepayers who fail to settle their rates bill within 3 months from the date of the Rates Demand incur a 10% surcharge as set down in the Rates (Jersey) Law 2005 and amounts paid by Parishes include any surcharges paid, alongside these prior year rates.

For 2025, a number of Parishes have significant amounts yet to be paid to the Treasury and appropriate accruals were made at the year end.​
