Request 791952950

Please confirm the number of reported cases of drink spiking in Jersey for the calendar year 2025.

For these cases, I would also like a breakdown of:

- How each incident was reported or recorded

- Where the recorded incident took place

- A gender breakdown of the reported victims (male and female)

Please also provide the outcome of each report, including whether it resulted in:

- No further action

- Arrest

- Charge

- Conviction

Additionally, in relation to data previously provided in response to a Freedom of Information request covering spiking cases from 2015 to 2024, please provide the outcome of each reported incident during this period, using the same outcome categories listed above.

Response

Please see Table (1) for the number of reported drink-spiking cases for the calendar year 2025, including a breakdown by how each incident was reported, location of the incident, gender of the reported victims and the outcome of each report. Where incident locations are recorded as “Unknown”, this information is not held by the States of Jersey Police, thus Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2018 has been applied.
