Statistics on crimes of under 18s

In the last five years, please can you provide figures for the number of under 18s who have been arrested in relation to crimes of:

- Domestic Violence 

- Stalking 

- Harassment 

- Sexual Assault 

- Rape 

Please can you also include how many of these went on to be charged. 

Please provide figures for years between 2021 and 2025.

Response

The States of Jersey Police can confirm that information relating to arrests of persons under 18 for the offences of Domestic Violence, Stalking, Harassment, Sexual Assault, and Rape for the years 2021–2025 is provided in the attached table.

The table also includes the number of those arrests that resulted in a charge for each offence category and each year.

Please note that figures relate to arrests where the individual was under 18 at the time of the arrest and where the recorded offence falls within the categories specified in your request.
