We would like a copy of the marking criteria for adjudicators for the PwC Jersey Young and Junior Young Musician of the Year competitions. Also confirmation that adjudicators are registered through BIFF or similar.
Response
There is no single standardised marking criterion for the Jersey Musician of the Year Competitions; instead, adjudicators apply their professional judgement and tailor the assessment to the performers and repertoire at the time of the performance. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is applied.
Competition adjudicators may be registered with BIFF or a similar organisation, but this is not a requirement. Adjudicators are selected based on their recognised professional standing and expertise.
