Number of influenza vaccinations done per GP surgery per year for last 10 years
Data presented by number and percentage practice population of practice.
Same data for COVID vaccines given for last 3 years.
Response
Health and Care Jersey (HCJ) do not hold data on vaccinations by GP practice and each practices eligible population for the full period requested. HCJ’s Public Health Intelligence team records’ for GP practice denominators (eligible population sizes) are only available from the Autumn 2024 vaccination campaign onwards. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
Data for the most recent year’s campaign are shown in the attached tables, as recorded at 17 February 2026:
▪
Table 1: Covid vaccination data, by practice
▪
Table 2: Influenza vaccination data, by practice
As per Public Health Intelligence reports provided to GP practices, a “GP Practice Code” is used as pseudonym. The percentage calculation is based on uptake amongst the patients eligible for the influenza / Covid vaccine registered at each GP practice, rather than the total number of patients registered. The data consider those patients vaccinated by their GP practice only, and will not capture patients who had their vaccination through a pharmacy or other provider. As such, the actual percentage vaccination coverage will be higher than the figures shown.
