Request 809347720

Please provide data on recorded road accidents broken down by age range of the individuals involved. If possible, I would appreciate the data being provided in a machine-readable format (such as CSV or Excel).

Specifically, I request:

The number of recorded accidents per year.

A breakdown of those accidents by age range of the individual involved (for example: under 16, 16–24, 25–34, 35–44, 45–54, 55–64, 65-74, 75-84,85+).

The most recent 5–10 years of available data. If available, the type of accident (for example road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, or other relevant categories).

If possible, please include any existing tables, datasets, or reports that contain this information.

If the request is too broad, I would be grateful if you could advise how it may be refined so that it falls within the cost limits set under the Act.

Please provide the information electronically. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Response

Please see Table(1) for a breakdown by year of road accidents within the specified age range. Where numbers are fewer than five, Article 25(2) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied to anonymise individuals.
