Would you please let me have the statistics for the past five years for rates for C-section, instrumental deliveries, epidurals and inductions in the maternity department?

Data for caesarean sections and induction of labour are published in Health and Care Jersey’s (HCJ’s) Quality and Performance Reports and the HCJ Advisory Board papers:

Figures are available for the full period requested. As this information is available elsewhere, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
Data for instrumental deliveries have been included in these publications since March 2022. Therefore, Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law applies in respect of annual data for instrumental deliveries for the period 2023 to 2025.
Figures for instrumental deliveries in 2021 and 2022 are detailed in the table below, along with epidural data for the full period.
