Taxi-Cab Companies operating in Jersey - Annual Update 

Please the provide the names of all the Taxi-Cab Companies that are currently operating in Jersey (ie only those actually providing a service by having either Company Owned or Owner Driver Affiliated Taxi-Cabs available for the Public). 

It is noted that the published Government lists of Taxi-Cab Companies all differ by location (ie the lists published on the Gov.je Website, Airport Taxi Shelter and the Weighbridge Taxi Shelter all differ, including with Taxi Company(s) that have ceased trading).

The information requested is exempt under Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as the information is accessible on www.gov.je on the Taxi fares and regulations page linked below.

List of taxi companies​

The Scheduled Public Authority (SPA) is taking action to align the signage information at the Airport Taxi Shelter and the Weighbridge Taxi Shelter with the linked information.

Article 23 - Information accessible to applicant by other means

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.

(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.​
