Provide the number of times and when (Date / Month / Year) a speed check with a speed gun was undertaken on the below roads in St Helier from 01/01/2021 to present:
1) Peirson Road
2) The stretch of St Aubin’s Road adjacent to the People’s Park
3) Lewis St
4) Westmount Road

We can confirm that the States of Jersey Police (SoJP) do not hold the information you have requested relating to the number of speed checks conducted and the dates on which speed gun use was undertaken on Peirson Road, the section of St Aubin’s Road adjacent to People’s Park, Lewis Street, and Westmount Road in St Helier, from the period 1st January 2021 to the present as States of Jersey Police do not keep logs of this type of activity. Officers chose where they undertake speed enforcement activity, where appropriate, officers may be asked to direct attention to a specific area, for example where there has been a complaints or relevant intelligence indicating an increased risk or concern.
