1. The number of prescription items issued by surgery annually for the last six years is shown below. These are items issued as pharmaceutical benefit only. Information regarding private prescriptions is not held.
The table below has an ‘others’ category - including cases where the surgery was not identified and cases where prescriptions issued by non-medical prescribers (such as nurses and pharmacists) did not include a surgery code.
