The identified total costs to date of the Specialist Paramedic programme are calculated to be £127,429.
This amount includes expenditure for
- agency staffing
- relocation costs
- dedicated vehicle lease
- standard uniform and equipment allocation
- training
Pre-existing costs and expenditure which cannot be directly attributed to the programme or distinguished from other areas of the service for example, those relating to Information Technology systems, are excluded.
The total programme costs detailed do not include substantive staff salaries. There are four permanent Specialist Paramedic roles (People Link Grade WFMF). The States of Jersey Ambulance Service does not employ a consultant nurse.
