Response

1
Health and Care Jersey (HCJ) does not currently have any specific policies, guidance or protocols relating to the prescribing of medication for ADHD in adults, though a policy is under development in 2026.

In the absence of HCJ policy, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines are observed. Find the NICE ADHD management guidance at National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline NG87: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: diagnosis and management.
