Response

1. The Children’s Social Care (CSC) Retention Payment was applied to all social workers employed by the Government of Jersey who met the eligibility criteria during a specific time period; a list of those in receipt of the payment was not recorded. In order to collate this data, the individual employment files for each social worker employed during that time period would need to be reviewed, which would take in excess of 12.5 hours. Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is applied.

2. – 4. When employees leave the Government of Jersey’s employment, their individual employee files are reviewed to ascertain whether any money is owed. There are several reasons why money may be owed when an employee ceases their employment. In order to collate this data, all social work employee files who were employed during that time period would need to be reviewed, which would take in excess of 12.5 hours. Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is applied.
