Summary

Following the adoption of P.52/2019 by the States Assembly in June 2019 the Minister for Infrastructure was tasked with lodging a Sustainable Transport Policy by the end of 2019.

The Sustainable Transport Policy is presented in two parts:

  1. A Framework for a Sustainable Transport System 2020-2030 – this outlines the vision for transport in Jersey over the next 10 years and the decision making principles that are proposed to help us achieve this
  2. Sustainable Transport Strong Start Delivery Plan 2020 – this outlines the programme of foundation work to be completed in 2020 to begin to achieve the aims of the vision
