Jersey Appointments Commission Code of Practice for Appointments to Autonomous and Quasi-autonomous Public Bodies and Tribunals.
A primary function of the Jersey Appointments Commission in overseeing the recruitment of States appointees to States supported or related bodies, is to ensure that the selection is fair, efficient and conducted in accordance with best practice and procedures.
In addition to its general Recruitment Code, the commission has produced the Jersey Appointments Commission Code of Practice for Appointments to Autonomous and Quasi-autonomous Public Bodies and Tribunals. - principles of recruitment and selection
- upper and lower tier appointments
- recruitment and selection practices
- appointment terms and re-appointments
- audit
- complaints
- members of the Jersey Appointments Commission
- confidentiality declaration
- record of conflict of interest
The commission has been in existence since 2002 and has a Chairman and 4 other Commissioners.
