Jersey Economic Digest 2008

The States of Jersey Statistics Unit has today (17th December) released the Jersey Economic Digest for 2008.  The Digest brings together the economic data released during the year into a single source. It covers three main areas - the economy, employment and prices.

Within each section the Digest covers the headline data such as Gross Value Added, numbers in employment and the RPI but adds more to the understanding of the Jersey economy by looking at measures such as Gross Value Added per employee, and comparisons of prices and earnings. In addition the Digest provides more background information on the sources of the data and recent trends.
