Where to recycle your Christmas cards

09 January 2014

The Transport and Technical Services Department (TTS) is reminding people in Jersey that they can recycle their Christmas cards in any of the island-wide paper recycling banks.

Recycling Manager, TTS, Emma Richardson-Calladine said the department had received a number of enquiries about where to take their festive correspondence. She added, "Christmas card recycling is easy, use any of our paper recycling banks and at the bring banks sites you’ll also be able to recycle your household plastic bottles and metal packaging."

All the Christmas cards collected will be sent to a paper mill in England where they will be recycled into paper.
