Blue Islands – passenger advice

14 November 2025

Following an announcement by Blue Islands, all future services by the airline have been cancelled.

  • All affected passengers should immediately refer to any travel insurance policies or credit card cover that they might hold.
  • Passengers should identify the nearest and most convenient alternative route with another airline or a ferry operator, and book a new ticket. Customers should note that regulation UK / EU 261 is not applicable in this scenario, nor is ATOL protection.
  • We ask Islanders to behave respectfully and considerately towards airline and airport staff, and each other during what may be a distressing time for them.

  • Government has been working with Ports of Jersey to implement contingency plans for replacement services. These will begin on Sunday 16 November, with Loganair offering rescue fares for affected passengers. Services will run between Jersey and Guernsey, Exeter, Bristol and Southampton, and between Guernsey and Southampton.
