Officers and partners will engage with Islanders and visitors to share simple steps to help keep Jersey’s beaches safe and enjoyable for everyone. PC Henry Woolley of the Police Community Safety Team said: “We want Jersey’s beaches to be safe and enjoyable to use for everyone, especially as the coming summer months will make them busy places. Being a responsible beach user can help to keep yourself and others safe.

“With fine weather expected over the Bank Holiday weekend, we’re anticipating high numbers at our fantastic beaches. We want everyone to enjoy themselves, but also to take a few simple precautions. By choosing lifeguarded beaches, keeping an eye on the tide, and acting responsibly, we can all enjoy a safe and pleasant summer by the sea.”
