It has been identified that the harness can be put on backwards, and the
rope or carabiner can therefore be attached to a non-weight-bearing leg
loop elastic band. This places the user at a risk of falling from height and
sustaining injuries.

band with a new design, free of charge. It is not mandatory for users or operators to replace the elastics. Petzl
however recommends that you send your harness to Petzl After Sales
Service for replacement of the current leg loop elastic band with a new
