| Further information | Screwfix would like to make customers aware that, on certain production batches, the sanding plate on the Erbauer 150mm Orbital Sanders is manufactured from a material which may lead to the mounting bolts unscrewing. This means that the base plate may release at speed, which could cause a risk of flying parts and potential injury. This product was offered for sale between 7 January 2019 and 12 July 2019. The issue only affects the batch codes listed below. The batch code can be found on the side of the tool or on the packaging, above the barcode. Affected batch codes:
18W37, 18W43, 18W49, 19W03, 19W09, 19W15, 19W21, 18W38, 18W44, 18W50, 19W04, 19W10, 19W16, 19W22, 18W39, 18W45, 18W51, 19W05, 19W11, 19W17, 19W23, 18W40, 18W46, 18W52, 19W06, 19W12, 19W18, 19W24, 18W41, 18W47, 19W01, 19W07, 19W13, 19W19, 19W25, 18W42, 18W48, 19W02, 19W08, 19W14, 19W20, 19W26, 19W27 No other batch codes or Erbauer Orbital sanders are affected by this issue.
