How to use a parking disc
Parking discs display your arrival time. There are three red cardboard discs on a parking disc, which must be turned to show the following details:
- 10th / 20th / 30th minute etc
- first, second, third minute etc
For example, if you parked your car at 10.46, you would rotate the discs to show:
- on the first disc (hour)
- on the second disc (40th minute)
- on the third disc (sixth minute)
If any of the details are not visible or are incorrect, then you will be issued with a parking fine.
If you park for longer than your parking disc is valid for, then you will get a parking fine. You will also get a parking fine if you stay longer than the maximum time restriction in a parking area.
