Applications are open to all local students who will be studying at degree level in September or post graduates studying the GDL, LPC or BPTC.
The Bursary award is £2,200 (paid in three term time instalments) plus £250 book vouchers per year. You will be guaranteed six weeks of paid work experience each year. Further detail can be found on the Carey Olsen website.

Collas Crill can assist you with your studies financially as well as provide support and work experience opportunities. Bursary applications are considered from Jersey residents, thinking of pursuing a career in law studying for their A levels (or equivalent), Bachelors degree or LLB, or post graduate studies such as the GDL, BPTC or LPC.
If you would like to be considered for the scheme, you'll need to achieve the following:
- two A grades and one B grade at A-level or higher
- 2:1 classification of degree or above (which you will need to maintain for the duration of your bursary)
If your application is successful, Collas Crill will issue an offer conditional on you achieving the above results. The bursary award is for the duration of your relevant studies and will be made up of:
- financial support in quarterly instalments
- preferential consideration for work placements at Collas Crill
- careers advice from partners and other lawyers
- first refusal on up to four weeks' paid work experience per academic year

David Miller Scholarship
Applicants need to be studying engineering, geology, geo-technical engineering, metallurgy, or mine planning.
Applicants must be Jersey born and email a CV and covering letter directly to Consolidated Minerals. £3,000 lump sum for the one year bursary, with approximately six weeks work experience.

Geomarine AS / A-level Bursary
Applicants studying AS / A-Levels who are interested in a career in an engineering or geotechnical industry need to write a letter to Phil Horsley at Geomarine.
The letter should be:

state your career interests, GCSEs being taken and intended AS/A-level courses
Interviews take place in September interviews and you will need proof of grades achieved and acceptance on AS level courses.
The bursary provides:
single payment of up to £500 to be spent on IT
£100 for text books per year, for two years
assistance with arranging or facilitating work experience

Geomarine Degree Bursary
Applications are welcome from students who have been accepted on a degree course accredited by the Institute of Civil Engineers. Single payment of up to £500 to be spent on IT and £225 for text books per year for up to four years Geomarine will also commit to assisting with arranging or facilitating work experience.

Jersey Clipper Bursary
Area of study Nautical. Submissions should be no more than 200 words in length and emailed by the end of April. Bursary currently £1,000. This annual award is given to an Islander to help them to undertake some form of maritime endeavour. This could, for example, be a trip on a tall ship, participation in a watersports competition, undertaking a marine biology field trip, competing in an ocean race or gaining a coaching award.

Area of study economic, accountancy, business studies or law.
Application submission by March. Bursary £1,500 per year with eight weeks paid work experience each summer, and a possibility of a 12 month contract on completion of your studies.

Application process will be available from the Jersey Water website from January each year. Applicants must have been resident in Jersey for five years prior to application. £2,000 financial support per academic year, towards cost of study for the duration of your degree course. Up to four weeks paid work experience per year.

Le Gallais Real Estates Property Bursary Scheme
The Le Gallais Real Estates Bursary offers financial assistance to students undertaking property degree courses or property related apprenticeships. The bursary will be awarded to one successful candidate each year and will provide £2,000 towards the student’s academic costs each year for the duration of the degree or apprenticeship course. Three weeks annual paid work experience during holiday periods is also offered. Applicants must have been resident in Jersey for five years prior to application.

The Maples Group bursary scheme encourages applicants looking to develop a career in law and/or are starting a Graduate Diploma to apply. The bursary offers £2,000 to the successful applicant.
The scheme has been carefully crafted to grant bursary students the best possible experience, including a structured work experience placement and on-going support from key members of the team while completing your studies.

Applicants should be starting a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), Bar Vocational Course (BVC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC), or currently studying at degree level, with the intention of progressing into law.
A covering letter should be submitted together with the bursary application form by the end February. A £2,200 yearly bursary payment will be paid towards academic fees. A minimum four weeks guaranteed paid work experience per year.

Applications are welcomed from Channel Islands' students looking to pursue a career in law. Applications are accepted from those students completing A-levels, degrees in any subject or GDL / LPC studies, provided that they can demonstrate a real interest and commitment to a career in law.
Our application process opens from October to January. More details, including an application form, can be found on the Ogier website. The bursary awards £2,500 each academic year for the duration of the studies, together with £200 of book vouchers . Bursary students get guaranteed paid work placements each year, together with preferential consideration for any additional requirements.

Olive Brown Bursary
Area of study performing arts. In the form of dancing, music, acting, technical skills (music & theatre) directing or designing.
Applications are open from January until the end of June and interviews take place in July or August. The bursary is awarded once a year for one student for £1,000 for each year of their course.

Sure Bursary Specifically for Women
A brand new bursary will assist motivated and ambitious women who are passionate about technology and will be attending university to study a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) related degree. The female only bursary for students planning to go to university in September.
Applicants will be assessed against their future career aspirations, passion for learning, entrepreneurial mind-set and aptitude for team work. The £1,500 a year is to support your studies over the course of a three year degree. There is also six weeks paid work experience annually as well as ongoing support from female mentors in a range of senior positions at Sure.

The Jersey Chamber of Commerce Skills Fund supported by Grant Thornton
The Jersey Chamber of Commerce Skills Fund provides an opportunity for additional funding for people who want to invest in themselves and their future, who want to upgrade their skills, knowledge and education.
The Skills Fund for 2020 could be used singularly for one application or shared across several, and will be awarded through a simple application process that is open to anyone who currently resides in Jersey, aged 18+.
Its primary aim is to assist you in striving for your dream or a vision and could well be a contribution to your funding, whether it be to complete training or a college course, an NVQ, a diploma, a BTEC, a Foundation, an apprenticeship, a degree or other courses that underpin your working life.

The Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants (JSCCA)
Considering a career in accountancy?
Students in Jersey starting a degree at university can apply for a bursary from the Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants (JSCCA). The JSCCA Bursary, valued at a total of up to £5,000 each year for the relevant years of study, is designed to help students from Jersey attend university to pursue an undergraduate degree of their choice, before returning to the Island and considering a career in accountancy.
