Data Protection Analyst

We’re seeking a Data Protection Analyst to oversee data governance and ensure compliance across the Carey Olsen Group. This junior to mid-level role reports to the Information Risk Analyst or Group CISO.

Location: Guernsey, Jersey, or Southampton
Team: Group Information Security & Data Protection

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate data protection activities
- Analyse data flows and risks
- Manage breach reports and DPIAs
- Support compliance monitoring and reporting
- Maintain processing records and privacy practices
- Handle data subject requests
- Assist with onboarding third-party providers
- Promote awareness and internal engagement

Requirements:

- 1–2 years’ experience in data protection
- Knowledge of regulations, DPIAs, and governance
- Strong interest in data privacy
- IAPP certification desirable
