Opening times​

What we accept

We accept all types of scrap metal. From end of life vehicles to household and commercial metals including:

• ferrous metals such as iron and steel
  
• non-ferrous metals
  
• small and large refrigerators
  
• freezers
  
• cookers
• washing machines
• tumble dryers
• dishwashers
• water heaters
  

End of life vehicles

If you are delivering a vehicle to be scrapped, the owner of the vehicle must:

• complete the reverse of the Vehicle Registration document by ticking the 'scrapped' box
• enter the date the vehicle was scrapped in box no. 1
  
• sign the document

You must send the Vehicle Registration document to DVS within 7 days.
