About the consultation

You're invited to comment on the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry’s recommendation to demolish the site of the former Haut de la Garenne children’s home.

Before the Council of Ministers make a final decision about the future of this building, Islanders are being asked to share their views to ensure all voices are heard.

The consultation asks you to reflect on a number of issues associated with the proposal to demolish the building. There is also an opportunity to share your views about the future use of the site.
