About the consultation

The Jersey Care Commission standards are statements which set clear expectations about how care services should be provided.

Care standards have been written for Care Homes (for adults), Day Care Services for adults and Home Care Services. The standards:

  • Show what people should expect from the care they receive
  • Set out what the people who provide care must do to meet the expectations of people who use care services
  • Provide a structure that can be used for inspection
