About the consultation

​​​The purpose of this consultation is to seek the views of landlords and tenants, members of the public and professional organisations involved in the rental of residential property, as to the desirability of:

• standard condition reports
• standard tenancy agreements
• standard forms of notice
• further obligatory tenancy provisions

Please note that consultation responses may be made public (sent to other interested parties on request, sent to the Scrutiny Office, quoted in a published report, reported in the media, published on the States of Jersey website, listed on a consultation summary, etc). On completing your consultation response, you can indicate if you prefer your comments to remain confidential.
