About the consultation

​We’re looking to introduce a ban on the sale and supply of single use vapes due to their environmental impact.

We want to understand:

• ​the implementation period that would be needed before the introduction of a ban
• the impact of a ban on local businesses and individuals​

How to submit comments to the consultation

​We want to hear from you if you sell or supply single use vapes in Jersey or you’re working with children, young people and adults.

You can complete the survey if you’re:

• ​a retailer
• a private or third sector health provider
• an industry body
• an organisation

Jersey is a party to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and so has an obligation to protect the development of public health policy from the vested interests of the tobacco industry. To meet this obligation, we ask all respondents to disclose whether they have a​ny direct or indirect links to, or receive funding from, the tobacco industry.
