About the consultation
Transport and Technical Services is proposing to install a new pedestrian refuge island on St Saviour's hill, just west of the entrances to Langtry Gardens, Jersey Cricket Club and St Saviour's Bowling Club.
The road will be widened both sides of the entrance to the cricket and bowling clubs to provide extra width for the installation of the pedestrian refuge island.
The new island will make it more convenient and safer for pedestrians to cross each carriageway individually.
A new 1.8m wide footway will also be installed from the beginning of the verge from Langley Avenue up to the main entrance to Grainville Playing Fields on the eastbound side of the carriageway.
We would like to hear any comments you have on these proposals.
