Recruitment for Engineering Technicians

Transport is part of everyone's lives. Every day we move between places, whether it is for work, shopping, leisure or learning. We expect to be able to move around safely and conveniently, but when we walk, cycle, take public transport or drive a car we rely on transport information and travel infrastructure.

We are responding to the Climate Emergency and sustainable transport plays a key role in carbon reduction. To do this, the team needs to grow and we are looking for local candidates with a passion for better sustainability through transport.

We are seeking to recruit both aspiring civil engineers and people who have a passion for urban design or transport planning to join an organisation that can offer a clear pathway to professional progression.

We have ambitious plans, particularly around sustainable transport, that we're committed to achieving. Working in Infrastructure in Jersey gives colleagues not only the opportunity to shape the local projects that underpin Island life, but also the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labour living in our community.

Transport roles

The role of Engineering Technician at Government of Jersey is an opportunity for candidates from a broad range of work experience and academic backgrounds to join a position with a training programme tailored to your current experience and qualifications.  We have a number of vacancies for Engineering Technicians within our different Transport teams.
